Mac To Hard Drive Transfer. Open the photos app on your mac. Connect your hard drive with mac and create a new folder in it.
Click to select it and show its contents in finder. Select the icon of disk utility by searching for it in search in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Click the recover button and allow disk drill to scan your external drive for files that can be recovered.
A hard drive desktop icon double click the usb hard drive icon to open up a finder window and browse its contents.
Click view in the top left corner of the window and select show all devices. The migration assistant will scan for available drives showing you a list. Select the icon of disk utility by searching for it in search in the upper right hand corner of the screen. On your old mac open migration assistant then click continue.
