Retrieve the transfer code.
You wont be able to transfer your domain away if its within 60 days of registration a previous transfer or an update to registrant contact info. The transfer code is the code you need to transfer your domain name from one registrar to the other or in order to transfer your domain name to another registrant. If the transfer process for domains was not protected by a domain transfer code some form of unauthorized transfers would occur creating risk.
